My day may consist of digitally engineering the look and feel of various knits and fabrics of garments from heathers, bi-blends, hacci, slub sweater knits, reverse large loop french terry, confetti knits and so on. From working directly with a sample of the garment, I simulate that particular texture in Photoshop, separating the textures and colors and making it changeable so that I can apply my digital texture on any color and fashion body whether its a sketched or photo real body. From there, patterns can be created in both Photoshop and Illustrator to be used on CADs.
