Priscilla Fellner-Vargas

I’ve lived in los Angeles all my life and it’s where I currently work full time as an artist and graphic designer. I got my start designing printed and woven labels and hangtags for clothing companies at California Label Products. After a few years I decided to take that experience to working on art that actually went on those clothes at Hybrid Apparel. When I’m not too busy with that, I share my time working on a number of freelance projects from logo developments to creating various print collateral for Local Design in which I started in 2005..

I've always loved art - looking at it and wanting to make it. And it was the Postmodern designers, Neville Brody and David Carson that made me take a look at graphic design and what that could actually do. So I went to school and graduated with a degree in Studio Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design from Loyola Marymount University in LA and now make a living utilizing the skills I've learned and continue to learn every day.

I think David Carson said it best, "if you allow who you are as a person to enter the work, two things happen; one, you're going to enjoy the work a lot more, and two, you'll be doing your best work."
